Brainbees Solutions Limited initially incorporated on May 17, 2010, as a Private Limited company, in Pune pursuant to a certificate of Incorporation and has subsequently converted into a Public Limited Company dated November 2, 2023 issued by the Registrar of Companies. Since then, the Company is engaged in buying, selling, advertising, promoting maternity, baby & kids products and Fast Moving Consumer Goods on a wholesale basis through various channels and providing facilitation services in education, training and other activities. The Company opened its first 'Firstcry.com' franchisee physical store at Bharuch, Gujarat in 2010 and launched the home brands 'BabyHug' and 'Cutewalk' in 2011; launched Firstcryhospital gift hamper program in 2013. It acquired the 'Babyoye' business from erstwhile MRL in 2016. Firstcry parenting platform was opened for business in 2017. The Company launched premium fashion brand for babywear 'Babyoye' in 2018; launched Firstcry.ae in UAE in 2019. The Company entered into the Preschool education business in 2019. The first BabyHug company owned physical store opened in Dhanori district of Pune, Maharashtra in 2020. The Company acquired majority stake in Swara Baby Products Private Limited, a diaper manufacturing company in 2020. It commenced operations in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2022 and increased the sharesholdings in the subsidiary, Swara Baby in 2023. The Company launched IPO aggregating an issuance of 9,01,94,432 equity shares of Face Value of Rs 2 each by raising funds aggregating to Rs 4193.73 Crore, comprising a fresh issue of 35,834.,699 equity shares to Rs 1666 Core and offer for sale of 2527.73 Cr by issuing 54,359,733 equity shares on 6th August, 2024. Company scaled the physical retail presence, increasing the number of modern stores from 1,063 as of March 2024 to 1,156 as of March 2025 across India, enhancing brand presence and customer accessibility. In FY 2025-26, the Company launched RocketBees, as its proprietary, asset-light, technology solution in FY26. In addition to this, it launched FirstCry Qwik, a few hours delivery proposition across the select cities in December 2025. The Education Business has expanded the network to 436 preschools, serving more than 23,000 students in 2026.
