BF Investment Limited was incorporated on May 26, 2009 and received the Certificate for Commencement of Business on July 20, 2009. The Company is primarily engaged in the business of making investments in group companies. The business prospects of the Company depend upon the holdings of investments. Pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement between the Company and BF Utilities Ltd. (BFUL) and Bhalchandra Investment Ltd, Forge Investment Ltd, Mundhwa Investment Ltd, Jalakumbhi Investment and Finance Ltd, Jalakamal Investment and Finance Ltd and Kalyani Utilities Development Ltd and their respective Shareholders, Bhalchandra Investment Ltd, Forge Investment Ltd, Mundhwa Investment Ltd, Jalakumbhi Investment and Finance Ltd, Jalakamal Investment and Finance Ltd and Kalyani Utilities Development Ltd amalgamated with BF Utilities Ltd with retrospective effect from April 1, 2009. The Investment Business Undertaking of BF Utilities Ltd was transferred into BF Investment Ltd as a going concern basis and the Scheme became effective from February 26, 2010. As per the Scheme, the Company allotted on March 15, 2010, one fully paid Equity Share of the Company of Rs.5 to the shareholders of BFUL for one fully paid Equity Share of Rs.5 of BFUL held on March 12, 2010. During the year 2024-25, the liquidity and cash positions were monitored with reinforced focus. Earnings from the cash surplus investments, comprising bank fixed deposits during the year saw an increase due to the increase in the market interest rates. Utmost importance was given to ensure the safety and liquidity of surplus cash.
