Introduction<\/h2>\n

The Indian real estate and construction sectors are expanding. Initiatives like affordable housing and smart city projects drive the demand for tiles and bathware. The tile market alone has grown at a CAGR of ~7% from FY19 to FY25,and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 8% from FY26 to FY30.<\/p>\n

But, the Indian tile industry relies heavily on a single region. Morbi, Gujarat houses over 1,200 manufacturing units<\/strong>. This geographic concentration creates significant supply chain risk. Local disruptions may halt national production. For example, Cyclone Biparjoy<\/strong> forced the region\u2019s economic activity to halt for a while in 2023.<\/p>\n

Varmora Granito operates within this segment. They sell a diverse range of products comprising tiles that are manufactured in-house, to both domestic and commercial customers.<\/p>\n

The Business Model<\/h2>\n

Varmora manufactures and sells Glazed Vitrified Tiles (GVT)<\/mark><\/strong>, <\/mark>Polished Vitrified Tiles<\/mark><\/strong>, <\/mark>ceramics<\/mark><\/strong>, and <\/mark>bathware<\/mark><\/strong>. They leverage new age technology to pioneer design and quality advancements in the industry.<\/p>\n

For instance, they partnered with an Italian tile equipment provider to develop and commercialise Integrated Stone Technology (\u201cIST\u201d)<\/mark> in India.<\/p>\n
